The Calender of Illarion.
When in the Age of Discord the great battle against Moshran was faught and his army was destroyed, Bragon enchained the fallen one in hard iron and brought him deep into the earth in a chamber of stone. There he was chained to the rocks that never again he would be able to haunt the living or in this solitute would be able to find his true self again. Than Bragon took away the cursed armor and sword and began the long and burdensome ascent back up to the surface ever accompanied by the curses of Moshran, which echo from the cold walls of the dungeon.
Facing the warm presence of the sun again, he was calling out for the survivors of the battle and everyone still able to walk followed his call. So it came to be that a great crowed of men and women of all races stood infront of the God to listen to the words he uttered:
“Great misfortune has befallen you and the wounds inflicted upon you will fester for a long time. Therefore let it never be forgotten what you have faced here and what has been forced on you, that you will be able to defy the darkness. Resist the forces of evil and seal yourself against the temptation to follow it. As nothing good will ever evolve from it.
We also want to have a part in the future of Illarion and the wellfare of all the people living upon her. And so each God will favor an equal part of the whole. We will become the guardians of hope and our benevolent hand will be your shield. Under this shelter you may prosper again and flourish to new splendor.
But it can not be undone what has been created and I can not refuse the fallen ones right. Therefore even Moshran will receive his part of the year. But the margin, which will be under his misfortune, will be less than those of the other Gods. And these days will be dark and without hope. For you it will be a warning what might come to be if he will come to power again.”
